Technology & Digital Literacy
Drawing from our vision to enhance life through "improved support, services, and technology," these will maintain our digital resource navigation tools and provide mobile hot spots for families who lack internet access—a critical determinant of health and education.
Behavioral Health
The program intentionally bridges the gap between traditional wellness practices and western healthcare, addressing the "brain, heart, and body" connection that is often missing in mainstream services. Stigma Reduction: By hosting support meetings in comfortable, non-clinical environments
Community Health Work
Providing culturally relevant information on nutrition, chronic disease management (like diabetes or heart disease), and preventive care.
Housing
The "Know Your Rights" Program This is the flagship housing service for both RAC. It is designed to prevent homelessness and exploitation by empowering tenants through education.
Economic development
Funded through the State of California and the SEED initiative provides micro-grants and entrepreneurial support to individuals. Entrepreneurship Training: RAC provides culturally tailored business coaching to help refugees start small businesses or "micro-enterprises. "Micro-Grants: The program often includes small cash infusions.
Food Distribution
RAC act as critical distribution hubs for the San Diego Food Bank and Feeding San Diego.
